Well, first of all you both are to blame for this. You basically told him he was wasting him time and glyphing is pointless (which it is at low lvls, but the higher you are the more important it is! Which honestly doesn't make any sense because you need to start from the bottom to make it to the top all of it is important)
His comment wasn't that big of a deal and there is absolutely no reason to get pissed off and start e-raging over it.
You both took little shots at eachother (his obviously a bit greater than yours) But you have to understand. A lot of people in this guild give him shit for doing things that benefit the guild. Instead of just thanking or congratulating, people take shots.

So he took a tiny shot at you... Are you hurt? Did you cry over it? I highly doubt it and if you did, you need to get on some anti-depressants!

There is absolutely no reason for you to get your panties all in a twist over something as stupid as this.
