umm.....

I have proved you can play to mq with only 11 fg.......

my HC barb uses 1 fg weapons no ee, no armor and no charm

I am lvl 36 and kill fine, regen, kill again

I also have a heavy caster mq setup that kills 3 to 4 mobs per regen

300 weapon
300 armor
150 charm

could actually do a heavy caster for cheaper if you shop the mp for 2 weeks

currently am lvl 35 and using a 100 fg casting charm doing 3 to 4 mobs per regen, if a boss mob spawns just 2
