grind it out bro, it may take a while but it'll feel good when you get there

you may also want to invest in some regen gear. you can get lower numbers pretty cheaply and it'll speed you up a heap

You don't "lose" any EE, but the monsters continue to get harder as your gear stays the same

a 20ee level 45 weapon will be roughly equal to a 0ee level 50 weapon, which is probably where it comes from. you never lose ee, the base weapon just becomes weaker compared to higher tiers
