hey guys... just stopping by to let everyone know im not dead or anything. the cable company is working on the internet issues since our big storm i guess some major cables were damaged pretty good and since they were planning on laying fiber optic stuff underground this time they have moved forward with that. On the plus side my cable bill is free for the next 3 months after a couple 2 hour + phone calls (including HBO, SHO, STZ & ENC) lol. Anyhow the ETA for my tolerable internet connection is still TBD but the tech said unofficially I should be back up within the next week or two on my block.

Glad to have you back soon. Free cable's nice, anyway, eh? I wonder if the laying down fiber will mean speed upgrades for you -- back in California I had Verizon FiOS (over fiber) and it was blazing fast.
