any1 here can help me? i wanna buy a nice notebook for gaming, so one with a good gfxcard.

i have looked through benchmark tests and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 5 or 6 series seems to be best for that,
but most of the notebooks they are equipped with such cost like 1500+ euros, just because they have loads of other shit inside i dont really need.
appriciate any input or tipps on cheaper, still good stuff here :)

If you really want a gaming machine you should go with a desktop :P you can get a twice as good desktop as a laptop for half the price!

then you have to pay a big amount to be able to play the latest games at high resolution and graphics =/
I bought one for ~800 euro just before i went to here to Afghanistan and i can barely play Medal of Honor - Warfighter at mid+ graphics. and is a decent gaming laptop.

RAM: Corsair 8GB 1866MHz
GFX: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB

CPU: core i5-3470 3,2GHz Get a unlocked cpu, same price range area But can unlock if u chose to (pretty easy)
MB: Gigabyte GA-H77M-D3H
RAM: Corsair 8GB 1866MHz why not a 1600 one and overclock to 1866? price is pretty far apart last time i remember, and it should be almost identical speed
GFX: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB ever thought of the XFX edition? lifetime warranty
SSD: Kingston V300 120GB
HD: Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 1TB
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl (soundproofed)
Power supply: be quiet! straight power E9 400W ever looked at seasonic's? idk anything about this type of PSU but i do no seasonic's have their fan off until ur pc gets hot enough where it needs to be turned on
Random DVD

looked up some reviews on the psu, (same brand diff wattage) seems nice, but maybe look for a 500w one atleast? assuming in future ull overclock cpu and/or GPU?

i could get a overclockable CPU but i rather take the budget one (30€ cheaper)
the RAM is almost the same price if i take a 1600, only ~5€
Just looked up the XFX, almost the same stats and same price, both are overclocked, might consider in taking the XFX
The seasonic PSU looks good and is even a bit cheaper! im not that much into PSU's so i just choose one of the quiets that are high up in the ranking.
As i dont really need a high-end PC im find with the 400W one, i should be able to play most games with this setup on max res without the need of overclocking. Can i run the gfx card with the 400W too?
