You will not need to update your equip at every 5 levels like a tank or fighter must. Make sure that you are wearing heal mastery items throughout your levels and you will heal fine. The one exception to this is your heal charm that goes in your secondary charm slot. This charm must be updated as often as possible to keep your heals on par with the damage your party will take. Also keep in mind that while not totally dependent on armor - due to being in the back of the party - you should consider upgrading your armor with higher defense rating gear as long as you do not have to sacrifice any heal mastery to do it.

You will need to update your equip at every 5 levels, untill level 25 (ie: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25). After That update every 10 levels (ie: 35, 45, 55) The most important item that you upgrade when advancing in levels is your Axe. Each player brings one or more important elements to the party. The Damage dealing classes bring Damage; and without an updated current axe you can not do this. Your Primary charm and your armor should be updated as often as you can offord to. Strength (primary charm) and Dexterity (Armor) are stats that are factored into your damage amounts. Keep in mind the level of your Primary charm is not important as it is just the strength bonus of the charm that will be used. This is not true of your amor and you will soon find that you must balance your Dexterity bonus with your Armor type in an attempt to Gain More defence without loseing your all important Dexterity bonus. Your secondary charm should be updated as deals are found as mana will continue to plague you. Also keep in mind that while not totally dependent on armor - due to being the damage dealer of the party - you should consider upgrading your armor with higher defense rating gear as long as you do not have to sacrifice any Dexterity to do it.
