it means you now can have 16 different LScharacters on your account

Guardian is an extremely shallow character -- useful only in catacombs as a tank//healer, and very awkward to get advanced

A question about proficienies.....

As you advance ( in classes i.e. rogue/pally/monk etc...) you weapon class changes. Wont this affect your skills? If you start with a sword prof. and have to use a staff as Ninja......

yeah. if you have to switch to a new weapon cuz of class change.
proficiency will not change if you change a class - it stays with you even after MQ or Reroll. Only Ladder Reset affects it.

Hey Tim! Hows it been man? Seems like profs are only useful for a period of time. pretty much useless when you have to change wep classes and start over. Kinda hard for me to use them. Im a rogue and I might be using a sword,dagger or axe depending on what level I am.0-5 I used a sword. 5-10 I used a dagger. From 10 - 15 ( or 20) Ill be using an axe. No idea yet what after that. So profs wont really do me any good. Maybe not until I get to a lvl where I know Im going to be using a certain wep ( axe or dagger- cant remember right now) for extended levels. Like 20 or more. Guess Ill just save them for when Im around level 45. I dont really have any trouble before then anyway.

Oh........ Dex is still good on a rogue? I havent seen anything on it otherwise. All of the guides are gone it looks like.

dex is still good on a rogue -- but you dont need more than 120 -- after that it's a case of diminishing returns.

and as for proficiencies -- you need to use the weapon//charm to gain proficiency in it -- the first 4 lvls come fairly rapidly, then they slow down -- and if you die, you will lose part of all proficiencies -- not just the one you're currently using

dex rogues used to be great in the past (my blut was always a rogue too, i loved her, lots of high damage/criticals) but now its neferd, dont put too much in there, stay around 130 dex at the high lvls and u will be fine, if u have dex items put ur stats in str and vice versa. btw, if ur char is still low lvl maybe a re-roll to a fighter would be nice, fighters are better than dex rogues now sweety

and its wonderful to have u back! now go for monk/ninja, like in the old days

Ahhhhh!!!!! I just noticed. You dont actualy add to them. Its kinda like leveling. You have to gain "exp" in them.

I was wondering about the leveling. It seems like I had read that you get more exp now, but it seems like Im leveling slower.......Maybe Ive just been away too long and my memory is getting fuzzy in my old age.....

Im only level 11 but I think Ill just make a fighter too instead of rerolling. I dont want to start over and not like it and have to start over again....

Thanks ! Its good to be back in the slashing saddle again. Ill feel lucky if I make it Pally this time around since Im getting a fairly late start...
