I see you are a barbarian, using axes at the moment.

There are two viable builds you can take.

One, is to put every point to STR, and find some DEX gear to help raise your DEX. Works well if you can not afford high stat gear.

The other, is to get DEX to ~100-120 WITH gear (at level 55 mind you) then add the rest to STR. Generally works well if you can afford the higher stat items.

In your situation, I would raise STR as high as you can, while using axes, it seems to work well. Find some DEX armor or charms and use those to help raise your DEX up.

Rex (izParagonzi) may also have some helpful advice on the STR/DEX debate.

EDIT:Here is a good barbarian guide, it covered the basics of how to make an effective melee barbarian.

sounds good i think ive raised my dex to 45 or something like that but the rest ive put into stre(was going to do vit till i realized you get more life everytime you level)

Yes, your stats look fine to me, keep doing what you have been, it will work out fine if you add to STR and DEX throughout your climb. The best time to add VIT is at the beginning, because you will gain more life each levelup if you do. Generally, barbs do not need the extra VIT at start. Mages and Rogues and fragile classes, you would want to add 5-10 VIT at the very start for that extra HP boost.

No real debate here... but I will only give advice on what I did.

If you are starting out on a barb with stuff all fg and no items...

1... add 5 points ONLY into Vitality at the start (level1)... this will help in two (2) ways: ..1a... More life... 2a... More defense
2... go purely dexterity... up until you reach 90-100 (this is with all gear on)
3... rest strength from then on...

With the above... just buy some cheap Strength items ... +20 Str or more... in a charm...

From level 1-15 you DO NOT have to worry about EE... but items on MP are 1fg so go for gold... I went with TierIII items with max life...

On another note... just some other additional advice... remember.. .you do not have to follow what I do or believe.
I am a "Proficiency Hunter"... so my goal is to get up in profs while gaining GPs and improving my gear:

I play differently to 90% of Ladder Slasher (well sorta)
I was like you... 15fg... new... nothing great... this was starting like June this year.
I did something that most people do not do to this day...
Re-Roll my character just to gain Profs in a certain weapon... this is arena only and I sold off junks for 1fg, upgraded my lower tier items to make it faster and easier as I climbed... when I reached Rank4 or 5 in my main weapon... I used a different weapon from levels1 to 5, then went back to my main weapon.

This is why I have one (1) main character:
... Because you can build on profs
... Profs will aid you as you climb
... Utilising the time on one character to benefit you in the long run

Think of this:
When you spend time on other characters... you are NOT spending time on a main character.
Each time you spend fishing (or other non combat skills)... you are NOT upgrading weapon/casting profs, levelling, and finding better items.

Things to do in-between:
When you can NOT get into a group and you are regen'ing... Fish or Mute or Glyph etc
When you can NOT kill more that 3 monsters in Arena, BUT do not want to re-roll... invest in "Life-regen" gear (best L/R for 1fg)
... this will help you regen faster to kill more. (Note: Mana regen if you're a mage etc and/or have good heal charms to keep life up)

This is what I do when, no group, or kill only 1 monster per time
1... put mana or life regen gear in my inventory
2... kill one or more monsters off, and heal myself up if I can.
3... swap to regen'ing gear... swap back when fully regen'ed
4... repeat #2
5... at times... I will fish... just because I want to do something different while regen'ing
6... RE-ROLL ... ... ONLY ... if it is way to long... basically two hours to gain 1 level

This is what I did
1-15 (re-rolled untill I had good enough gear... test it in well)
1-20 (re-rolled untill I had good enough gear... test it in well)
1-25 (re-rolled untill I had good enough gear... test it in well)
1-30 (re-rolled untill I had good enough gear... test it in well)

This took alot of time... but with the proficiencies... I was getting better and better...
NOTE: Do NOT Die

EDIT: by the way... do this when you can not get into a group... this way you will utilise 2 ways...
