I might have to play some HC soon...

Do maps have any value? Couldn't I save my lower tier maps to be used at a higher lvl, thus ensuring I have better drops/ more EPs? I am looking for information regarding maps but am finding very little.

EDIT: I am slashing at work, plan to slash as much as work allows. I bought a few 1 gold items and am just grinding my way up right now.

lower tiers nop, highers like 15+ some ppl look for them, if they have amazing mods, like eps, exp, lvl cap etc etc can worth like 50-100fg also depens on lvl req

If you use a lower tier map at 55, does it spawn with the same mods? (So like etxra 3 EPs---- will that be in my map at 55 with potential 55 lvl monster EPS?) Or does it spawn a lvl 5 map for some reason?

if he passes me oh well. not like i have been slashing to make it dfficult for him lol.

not sure mate, i dont really know much about map, i tried tiers 1 solo, lvled 1-5 map cleared, used another tier 1, 5-10 i guess cant remember, at highers lvls u need higher tier map, also the size changes to with ur lvl, but the dificult on mobs depens on the map tier

I'm climbing right now, lvl 8.

Maps have a max monster level based on the quality of the material. Some maps have a mod that increases the "cap"

And they definitely can have value especially on HC, have seen nice ones go for over 100fg.

Mods people look for are more EPs, Treasure Chests, +% of Level Up, and +% of Guild Points (when you complete the map, you have a chance of leveling up / earning GP) to name a few. Experience gain and more wells are also nice bonuses to have.



e: This was found recently and is considered very nice due to the mods. Max mob level will be 72, so it's damn nice to enjoy all those EP and extra warm lights for that amount of time, considering you can use it at level 25 and the quantity is 5.

Kenny, I have some EE clubs on one of my HC characters, you are welcome to borrow them if you need some temp weapons. I bought a few and I think Rex gave me one, and you are welcome to use them if you need stuff to get to MQ. They aren't godly but they will get the job done.
