Big Grats to Kevin on the Jangurai :hail:

Grats to everyone on the attempts....

I have been sooooooo insanely busy today. Still not done yet. Not even time for a quick solo. Just wanted to pop in and make a post and bump some topics.

I did something tonight I will NEVER do again. I cooked an acorn squash. Well it's baking now but the fricking hassle it is to get to the oven is insane. This thing will have to taste like honey from Heaven before I will even consider doing it again. Butternut squash yams no problem Fck an acorn squash...... :fume: :wallbash:

Tasted ok. Had to use tons of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. It has no flavor at all on it's own. Tasted ok yes, but I think it could have been better if I had been better prepared for the battle I was in. Going just by that one, I wold say it is definitely not worth it. But thinking that it could be better since I am now more prepared makes me want to do it again. The 2nd time will be much easier and quicker. Maybe a few other seasonings...... I think more than anything I want to do it again, because I am not a quitter and I refuse to let a vegetable kick my butt.

my friend has had an ongoing battle with lobsters for years. Every time he tries to cook one they give him a good gash or cut. I think its hilarious watch him trying to put it in the pot. He is terrified of them now so its funny, I should sell tickets :D

That is actually considered cruel. What he should do is get a knife and stab the lobster in the neck just below the head, killing it first. Think about it.... would you rather be thrown into a pot of boiling water alive or dead? I vote the latter myself. Crabs, unfortunately, do not have the same benefits....

I  seafood. Btw... I learned that about lobsters watching a cooking show. Oh and the claws should have a rubber band securing them. Kill lobster, remove bands, insert in pot.

Something for everyone to think about.... Beside elevators there is a warning that says " In case of fire use the stairs." What if the fire is in the stairs?

Do you jump, or do you try and use the elevator?

Depends on what floor you are on..... ;) I'd probably opt for the elevators myself. :p
