LS is set up the way it is for a reason. Anyone and everyone who loses an item in the course of xfering has no one to blame but themselves. And the lame topics that get posted do not make the item buyer look bad, but makes the item seller look bad. I am sure you remember I once loaned an item out, and never got it back. I did make a topic. Not flaming or anything like that. I clearly stated the history of the item, and let everyone do what they will with it.
But the public attempt at making people look bad is not only pathetic and lame, but worthless. Which is why those posts always get closed as soon as someone sees it.
The question of ethics does not come into play as the game is designed to offer protection as long as one is not trying to be cheap and avoid the tax.
