Yeah, the Gorge Amphitheater. Seriously, like a 5 or 6 hour drive. Blew chunks that I couldn't camp it and had to drive back. But went with my dad, uncle, and my dad's girlfriend. The ticket was a birthday present. And we had to come back last night (this morning), because 8am, my dad had to get up, hop on the motorcycle, and drive down to Sacramento for work. Hope he makes it ok. He'll have put around 1200 miles on by the time he gets there, all in the space of about 30 hours, WHILE also being at a concert and getting totally hammered.
Edit: So yeah, we were 25 rows back. My only real complaints about it were that the chairs were so close together, there was no breathing room, and there was no real exit strategy. They had traffic control, crowd control, the works, getting in. But getting out, it was one great big, poorly organized, very fucked up mob.
But god damn there were a fuckload of people there. Section A was still awesome though, and I like how they don't make you go elsewhere to smoke. Smoke wherever you want. Don't see that ANYWHERE here in Oregon anymore.
