I didn't read every reply yet but I just wanted to say for Trev: there will always be assholes dominating the forums because we are on a gaming website which unfortunately attracts the immature types. However, how we deal with this immaturity is what sets us apart from them. I don't cata at ALL anymore unless I was invited to do so by a guildie. Personally, I prefer the solo aspect of the game just because you don't have to deal with all the bullshit of other people.
Just don't let the bastards grind you down, and think about it for a while before you make any rash decisions. The last thing I'd do would be sell off all your high end gear because if anything it will raise in value so you wouldn't gain anything by selling it now. I'd just loan out gear to people who could use it for when you are taking an indefinite break and then at some point if you decide to come back to slashing all your old sexy gear is just right there and readily available. And if you decide to sell it and use the fg for something else then you can do that too, and you'll likely make more if you sit on it for a bit.
