Hi Guys,
Wanted to put this in a single location, rather than a "bug report" topic. The NoteBox has been updated, and overhauled. You can now purchase "Pages", which are basically seperate topics of discussion for your guild members. You can also expand each page's storage capacity. Think of them like private guild forum topics, where you can customize the rights of each specific page (topic).
The current limits are:
Maximum of 250 pages (topics)
Maximum of 100 posts storage per "page" (topic)
The latter may increase as well, up to probably 250, but I want to see how it goes, and if that many rotating posts are useful or not to your guilds.
This should replace the back and forth chatter that goes on in the Guild Chat forums, so it can be used now for recruiting instead, and free up a lot of the site resources, and just in general clean things up a lot. Also, since these are private, you can self moderate them, and there is less issues of other people spamming your topics.
I have more stuff planned for this, but wanted to give you guys a heads up on the new features (those of you that hadn't seen them yet).
Please note that some of the features will require the guild owner to edit the rights of the Notebox Page(s) to setup who has access to what (pin, delete, etc).
Enjoy!
My question is Why do we need to purchase the pages for? is it to minimize the use of the guild chat or to add another income to njag? (just like what he did to vault system on LS)
There are so many guild threads with thousands of posts and pages that it effects the site load I believe I could be wrong though.
