I was gonna save it for later---wasn't sure anyone noticed but me, but I guess there is no time like the present.

I came to JSP on March 6th of this year. Sometime in mid april, I decided slasher might be more fun in a guild, so I started to poke around. I slashed a lot, but I still had yet to MQ. I would grind every day, make it as high as I had ever been before, then reroll and try again, hoping to find better gear. Two guilds contacted me about joining, X-treme and Big Time Gods.

I exchanged a couple of pms with el diablo, and a couple with a guy named fourteenseven. I told each of them I'd join for 500 fg (pretty ballsy for a guy with no MQs, eh?). I was sick of grinding, but both (naturally) refused. I had to make the choice. Something inside me told me it had to be BTG. I can't explain why, but I remember it was clear we were on a path to greatness, and I could play a significant role in achieving that greatness.

A week later I "recruited" a guy named Hero2099. His name was Chris, and he quickly became one of my best friends here. This was pre-catacombs, so we'd just message each other in game while we slashed. I later found out his brother Kevin was in the guild, so I doubt I had much influence in him joining, but Chris always made me feel like I did.

A week after that, I brought in this douchebag named Jason, who would later go on to be one of my closest friends. Shortly after joining, he found an amazing weapon--he asked what he should sell it for and I replied "you need to keep that in the guild." He promptly responded "you need to mind your own goddamn business, as I can sell or not sell whatever the f*ck I want." I think it's safe to say I liked Jason from the start. smile.gif

I'm getting long and misty eyed here--there's so many of you that are important to me here. You all know who you are. Puck...MSP...Kold....Jans...Rgc. Many more too. We're like any other family--we love each other, we fight with each other, but above all, we stick together. I have no doubt I made the right choice when I joined BTG. There isn't a finer guild on JSP, and there never will be. And I'll be damned if we don't take this thing straight to the top.

Happy Birthday, Big Time Gods. I can't imagine myself anywhere else.
