Considering buying a Samsung Galaxy S2, anyone have any experience with this one? Levi has the S model and it's pretty sweet, I need a new phone my old LG slider is really screwing up lately, dropping calls and just randomly shutting off now... it's time I jump on the smartphone era anyways and always wanted an Android.

I have an LG optimus 3D android phone and i love it!
Thats all the input i can offer lol.
I've always liked lg phones tho. Seem to be pretty solid phones.
Never had any problems with any i have bought so far.
I have about 6 lg cell phones in a box packed away lol.

S2 is a brilliant phone, however if you can hold out for 6-8 weeks then you may be able to get an S3 or even a cheaper S2!

I prefer the Android OS, it's more open source than Apple ever will be.

That and I hate giving Steve Jobs money almost as much as I hate paying Bill Gates.

Also isn't the iPhone's service a lot more money?


e: Also the iPhone has shit service where I'm located, US Cellular dominates the scene here and they carry mostly Android/Windows phones, if I moved it may be different.

steve jobs aint getting paid anymore, you just have to pay for more apps and then as well with the iphone, but they are of better quality than android since android is open source

android is still really good though, and yeah you generally have a specific plan for iphones
