Good morning friends. Boring I know but let me share a story:
Got up this morning at 5:00am. Severe thunderstorm forcast but no rain as of then. HAd not rained all night. I throw on the camo, head to the farm I hunt and then it starts lightning in the distance.
Drive closer than I intended so I could get out of the woods fast. My son and I roosted this gobbler last night so I knew about where he was.
Sure enough, he is gobbling at 6:10am. Sure enough, the sky opens up and it is raining in sheets and lightning is going across the sky like something you would see in a science fiction movie.
I get under several huge hemlock trees attempting to get out of the rain, no luck. Raining too hard. Lightning was lighting up the woods like it was noon time.
I ease closer and closer. Eventually, the time came when the old bird made an error. End of story: Duke 1 turkey 0. HE was 18lbs, 3 oz, 10 inch beard, one spur was 3/4 inches, the other was 1 inch.
Sit on it Chip.....get that out of the way before the wise cracks start from the peanut gallery.
On a side note, fooling around with a mage going all heals. If anyone has mediocre hc mage heal gear that you arent going to use, save it.
How much life should I go? 75? Will take all my points I guess, lol
