I started playing LS with about ~1500fg or so.

A lot of the FG I have now came from it, and I probably have a rough 20-30k worth of gear, giving room for the bad economy.

Lucky me.

oh yeah, well, i have 5 trillion fg worth of gear. and then died on hc and lost it all

The thing that is different with me... I will use junk gear that alot of people will agree.
Then I upgrade that junk from the MP when ppl sell their extra gear... the price dwindles down
and boom... I get it for a song... like my level 55 warhammer @ 150fg with only 57% ee on it.
That was a steal... or even a level 45 polearm @ 10fg with like 54% ee on it.

All in all... I would also not be here with the help of good friends from this guild and some others.

All in all, I've spent about 75k fg on LS gear I'd estimate (at least, gear I still own) and now I would consider myself lucky to get half that much if I sold out however, I have gotten enough incredible deals that I feel like I've come out on top - no matter what my gear is "worth" now

Yeah ive lost too much fg from updates. My hybrid gear value was wrecked and i had some sexy gear too one update. Now my hc gear is worth prob half what i invested lol. Prob have lost 30k ++ fg from ls lol.

Wtf why doi have 53 iyems in my hc vault... now i gotta spend 300 to open it fvxkkkk

The prices on HC has not dropped that much at all... you only need to keep at the prices you want for them.
Other than that, all I can say, is that if you invest a high amount in items, then you should use them to give you a return.

It is like buying a block of Units and not advertising for tenants... you lose money on mortgages etc. This is like your gear
sitting on mules.
