After over 4 years with my company they told me today that I will be let go on the 30th of the month. I was not prepared for this, but I know that everything happens for a reason and I won't let this get me down. I've built experience that can never be taken from me and I can use it if I continue to pursue a career in the cyclical business of the oil industry or change my path for something more stable.
