Well I'm back home now, minus 4 teeth xD wonder if I should get 1500fg together and change my name to ' ToothlessWonder '
I was knocked out cold, so I didn't feel a thing, when I came out of it the dental assistant was giggling at me cuz apparently I woke up
with the hiccups

I was trying to talk and every few seconds I would hiccup and couldn't understand a damn word I was saying haha
and to be honest I was expecting vicodin but I got a prescription for lortabs and all I have to say is I do believe in pink elephants now

Welcome back, Dennis!
I'm happy that it's over and everything went alright....and the hiccup thing was too cute! Wish I could have been there to see THAT!

Actually, people don't need wisdom teeth anymore. According to some sources, those teeth are from the days when humans needed those back teeth to chew really hard raw foods. Today we are lucky to have stoves and microwaves to soften our food up and make it easy not only to chew but also to digest. The dentist who took my wisdom teeth out told me this, and since they seem to cause so much pain to nearly everyone, I'd say he's right - we don't need them, so why bother with them?
So, Mr. Chipmunk Cheeks, I'd say expect a couple days of swelling and tenderness. Just take your meds *on schedule* - don't be a tough guy and skip a dose, plz - and be sure you have that gauze firmly stuck in those holes before you smoke. Dry sockets are no fun, and I know this from experience.
I hope you have a speedy recovery!
