My first thoughts were more like, this guild is what you make of it:
- We have the guild thread, which is great for updates.
- Guild Chat, which Dom was nice enough to get us and help us run
- Note Box, which is just fun.
- And in the Guild Charter are most of the member's characters and their level, great for finding cata mates.
Make sure to use these things

I didn't buy guild chat. Amber did. I just happen to be the only remaining aop+ on it, since Amber let her account expire. And Paul would be the only channel SOP.
It was the notebox that I got, and I've a bad habit of deleting everything from it from time to time too.
Biggest thing about the guild is IRC though, I find. The ability to chat with guild mates while slashing is simply huge. This thread and the notebox certainly help, but in IRC, it's real time. Build discussion, real time pricechecks (when we feel like it), mute listing advice, and so on, makes things so much more interactive and social.
Not to mention just chat. I've been considering writing a book, "The Adventures of Bobb and Tim" and using wigwam and I's IRC chats dating back from when I first started chatting with him. It'd be highly entertaining.
