Good luck to getting into the 100k club on a single char soon. I'm only a few thousand kills from the 100k club across 3 chars. You know what sucks, is that it's easier for people who unlock chars to get to the 100k club because they have to kill more enemies due to the less exp. I passed 100K kills on multiple chars quite a while ago.

For those with the gear to play classes intended as melee, AS melee, you are correct, they can rack up kills, especially in lower levels, very quickly.

But the higher tiers actually slow me down, unfortunately.
