I suggest you seek out daggers since you have an axe base already

sorry had you mixed up with lethal
seems you already have a sword str base
build upon that, because Pally can also use those items
You will need to consider if you want to melee or cast when you get monk

Bc Monk cannot use swords... So either scrap the sword/str and go with dag/dex
just food for thought
