This link is being posted in response to some questions I've been asked about personal security regarding LS:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/index.php?showtopic=9786648&f=27Other security breaches are possible, but the site itself is quite secure and won't be successfully targeted. Members need to know how to protect themselves. I hope this helps and that we can get back to slashing soon

We
will be rebuilding our lending library, and I extend my deep condolences for those who lost items or characters this morning. I am not blaming people who lost their stuff. Security vulnerabilities are not anyone's fault, but when they can be prevented or fixed I want people to take action.
Please change your passwords often and use passwords people won't guess--this further protects you. Don't download anything suspicious and don't visit links you don't trust. Best of luck to all our slashers and I hope we can get back to having fun now
Edit: More help is posted here, note what ant says:
