i usually melee my rogues from 1-35 for that exact reason.



so i decided to make a welling mage today. then used some great cata runs and went from 4-39 in just a few hours.

so if any1 has some helpful info on what i should be shooting for with my weller mage it would be appreciated, ima try and stay as low budget as possible.

yeah i used to have the best rogue caster setup back when lvl45+ items were not dropping

only prob here is i play hc, and i dont have rogue armour or melee lvling charms
so doing it the hard way

yeah this is the common way and makes the rogue the possibly fastest char if you have the hybrid gear for it,
but usually its easier to afford than big melee or mage gear.

in the early levels you can profit from the high dex rates since mana is low and do no regen runs easily,
mages have problems here unless you got really awesome gear.

depending on your gear, you can switch to casting from level 25 onwards, but its no problem to go melee till 40 even.
afterwards you should have a decent mana pool and switch to casting gear,
which makes you faster than most of the melee characters unless they spent much into gear

level 15 monk atm, gotta pick up my mom but will level more after I've done that

I just remembered why I despise rogues now. Takes too long to level up and can only use limited armors. Trying to level a mule up to 40 for welling. Got a pretty decent axe for that. Sadly enough I cantt do one at lvl 17. Really makes me want to do things I shouldnt. Like kick my puter....


e; yep rogues suck

It really sucks when you can only get 3-5 kills per regen. I swear I wish I had rerolled before I leveled up.

Cata's are mostly the best solution for this. I had this sometimes aswell, died a few times and got REALLY REALLY frustrated. The last time I died I just HAD to go upstairs to punch the punching bag. After that a mate of mine asked me to do Cata's. Did those till 40, considering I could equip new stuff @ that level, quite easily and I was glad again

still looking for a nice rogue caster armor, but the best muted outcome was a 60 vita scale so far :/
