Yeah, definitely not worth it for the ~70fg worth of axes I transferred. I'd have loss less on it if someone else had swiped them (which thankfully did not happen). Obviously it makes sense if you're transferring something worth more than 100fg, but not in this case.

Thank you for clearing that all up for me, though. I hadn't looked too much into it (what the the price tag it has), but now I know how it works. smile.gif

Yar, when they first came out they sold for a heap.

i got like 150fg for a +30 dura splintered XD

then one of the top fishers wanted more rods so he pretty much told everyone how to farm rods.

make a guardian, get a club, a plate, and a heal with +mana

maze catacomb by yourself till you run out of mana, then reroll the character and start again. It could still be worth doing it on HC if you could be bothered with it.

wait you're saying if i bought an item vault i could put all my axes in there and let ppl use them whenever they needed em? cuase atm i don't have swat for samuari weaps and would be beastly if i could just bum daggers until i got to paladin

If you buy the item vault (100fg), you then have the choice of buying the 'guild transfer' option (100fg).

Once one person in the guild has purchased the guild transfer, everyone in the guild can send and receive items from other guildies without charge or fear of sniping. (only guildies with the item vault purchased for themselves can xfer this way though)

that's my understanding.

Ew indeed! It's really a great idea, but it's just absolutely ridiculously overpriced. So if it's only a week of guild transferring, then realistically it's 400fg/month per guild and 100fg/person involved on top of that.

Ridiculous.

That is EXACTLY why it's so expensive to do the transfer thing - they don't want a guild to buy one set of each weapon and then we all share them. They want every person to have to buy their own set of a weapon. >.<
