What is dota2 going to be run with? Steam?

i don't know i know the beta is running off of steam but i imagine dota 2 will be it's own game but then again idk

there doesn't seem to be alot of information on the dota2 website

As far as I know, Valve and Steam teamed up, and it will be released as a Steam-playable game.

Not overly happy about that, but it is a step forward at least.




I will be honest, I don't like how it looks, but in the spirit of things I may change it to keep you guys happy.

I was going to change my JSP name to Jesse but some r-tard has it and hasnt logged in for like 5 years. J3sse just doesn't look right at all, and J3553 is just way too leet for me. Few other options but they aren't the best... J_esse is available I think, as well as J_E_S_S_E but that's still not right.

nategoeshc? what are you saying you want me to play hardcore? you do realize i hate soloing as it is without arena and so that is impossible.

theres not enough of us in here who play hardcore regularly to do a cata run often enough for it to be worth my time
