Hello PvM, Hope everyone is doing good. :)

Everyone keeps talking about these doors. Heck, I wish I could figure what a door is! :rofl:

I'm not religious or anything (doesn't mean I am an Atheist or a Satanist, I'm just not into organized religion of any kind really. I suppose I'm a Deist or Spiritualist if you want to put a label on me :P ), but Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Hanukkah, Druidism Solstice Celebration, Whatever Else may Float your Boat, etc. oh, and a Happy New Year. :D

Did anyone get a chance to see the Solstice Lunar Eclipse? I did, was pretty neat from where I'm located at. It was directly above the house, very close to looking straight up at its peak and was a bloody orangish color.

Oh, and to Irish, I'm kind of a clean freak as well. Clutter bugs me :lol: Especially laundry!

Ordered this thing last July and it came right in time for Christmas :D - http://www.wickedlasers.com/lasers/Spyder%5FIII%5FPro%5FArctic%5FSeries-96-37.html - its a class 4, 1 watt laser. Something you don't want to look into.

Its a bit brighter than I expected it to be, but I'll get some lenses so I can begin taking blue laser photos of ice covered trees and whatnot. When I was a kid, I'd build 2 milliwatt lasers from spare parts at local corporate dispensaries for high-tech things - the old power inverters were huge back then. This laser is 500 times more powerful than those old lasers I built :lol: not to mention much more compact and durable. I think my younger brother still has one of them? The lasers back in those days where gas run, whereas this class 4 laser is run with diodes.

Now you you folks can call me Luke :lol:

Have any of you seen these things the U.S. is going to have in service in the next couple of years? The technology is getting beyond what humanity is capable of managing me thinks. http://www.boeing.com/defense-space/military/abl/pics-clips/video.html

From what I know, they use these carbon fiber nano-tube batteries to can hold a ridiculous charge for the diodes. I saw a late night program a few years back on the History Channel and they gave an example of how much energy these batteries can hold. If you were take a regular sized car battery and make it out of these carbon fiber nano-tubes, it could power an electric car from NYC to L.A. without having to recharge.

Its too bad humanity can only use this technology for war and not for the betterment of life as a whole on Earth.

Over and Out. :)

//edit

BTW, if any of you are interested. http://www.spaceweather.com/ The website keeps track of Solar activity and other things such as known near Earth objects.

// end edit
