Here is something Bizarre. I'm into history and what not. I like to find out what the meaning of words are and where their origins come from.

The word disaster seems to us as self evident but its root words are from two Latin verbs - dis astrium - meaning The Evil Star of the Gods. Google translator does a decent job at it.

http://translate.google.com/?hl=en&tab=wT#la%7Cen%7Cdisastrium

So in Diablo II, when entering the throne of Destruction, it could be phrased or translated properly into - Throne of the Evil Star God.

Baal is a King demon and one of many demons that were summoned by Solomon, google "the Keys of Solomon", of which Alister Crowley and Albert Pike (33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason) both were interested in. Diablo II game has many real mythical denotations to it.

I wonder how deep Blizzard will take the lore of DIII?

You never know. It's always been good vs. evil with Diablo games, so they just might decide to add some more major demons from various religions around the world. If they are planning on making the final quest into beating the "ultimate evil" (Satan in Christianity), we'll probably have to wait for an expansion pack. I doubt it will be in the original release of D3.

Hiho, PvM! :)

This is true, theres alot more actually. A while ago, I did my research on Andariel, wich lead me to find out more about Baal and so on :)

I'm not sure how far they'll go in DIII, we sha'll see...
