Use your best judgement when it comes to fighting mobs, if you pay attention to how much damage on average the "strongest" monster you've fought at your level can take off of your hp, dont fight with anything below or just above that. It's really a pain to start in HC with no money, you will be stuck grinding and grinding. I would really suggest doing an MQ or 2 in SC just to get a feel for the game. Play just as if it were playing HC and try not to die, so that when you make the switch over you will be used to the playstyle already.
