anyone playing path of exile anymore wanna explain the corrupted stuff to me?

well i am not too much into the corrupting stuff.. but i guess it is like gambling.. you can improve your items or make them worse.. but when an item is corrupted you cant use any orb on it anymore..
you can for example improve the quality or lvl (i think) of a gem.. so if you have a 20 quality gem you can make it 23 quality or so.. or a lvl 20 gem can be lvl 21.. but you can also lose quality/lvls..
a unique item can get another magical stat.. like an ammy with +1 curse.. but it can also become a random rare ammy.. (thats what happened to me ofc when i tried it)
it can also be that just nothing happens.. you have the same stats item.. but corrupted.. so again no more orb use on the item possible

This. It's worth it on some items. Particularly uniques that are commonly used but have no implicit mod.

skip all vaal gems except for certain auras that could give u a huge bonus for a few seconds.

Can climb all night , home in 20 min lmk for climbs!!
