Most active times of our guild from my experiance seems to be about 23:00GMT+1 -> 8:00 GMT+1
Saturday/Sunday/Monday are also the best days.

I'm not so sure I'm doing much slashing right now.. Stuck at 41, with a 35 sword. I'm doing more of a poke...then run. Then come back and poke. Rinse repeat and about 10 tries later the big dudes are dead.

My advice: Find a weapon that you can use with some Enhanced Effect. If you ever played D2, it's similar to "ED" in that it enhances whatever it is on.

For weapons, EE adds damage.
For armor, EE adds defense.
For casting charms, EE adds to the charm damage.
For heal charms, EE adds to the heal effect.

Look for weapons/armor with "EE" around your level, sometimes you can find something with ~50% EE on it and it will make a HUGE difference compared to what you are currently using.
For a charm, just find something that boosts the weapon damage. Swords/Clubs = STR, Dagger/Staff = DEX, Axe = Both or Either

Thats exactly what I did. And it worked fine up until around level 30-35. Then there simply became NO weps with EE on them that werent over 200 fg. I assume they are being bought out for glyphing, but it just makes it tough. Like for instance now, only 3 swords my level in the market, and none have EE.

I see a level 35 Axe with 47% EE and +1 Crit Strike, it's up for 1fg. This is a great buy, it can grind you to level 45 fairly easily.

I also see a level 45 Sword with 42% EE for 30, and a 55 Sword with 50% EE for 45. These are a bit more expensive, as I expected to see.



As you can see, Swords are pretty expensive, as are Daggers.

If you are just starting out and not wanting to spend a whole lot, I would highly recommend Clubs/Axes, they are a lot cheaper, the only downside being is if you pass to a Samurai, he has to use either Dagger or Sword. Still a cheap mid-ee Club is a lot better than a no-ee Sword/Dagger any day. (provided your character class can use it)
