Clear all your history and try again.

Tools menu, Clear Recent History, make sure you clear everything.

some shit gets clogged in there, tracking cookies, data miners, etc. you would be surprised what is in your history. (firefoxs history is the same as IE's temporary internet files.. i dont just mean the sites you visited)
