well the last words i heard when i went turkey hunting were...."You sure got a purty mouth and someone asked me to squel like a pig, does that count?
i have been snipe hunting so if u think i am that big of a city boy u are wrong.
You shouldnt stay up so long playing ladder slasher. How does your original statement, at the very top, about real birds, etc and my reply, in the middle, suggest anything about being a city boy?
I ask if you had actually been turkey hunting. Your first commentary, which I took the liberty to bold, says in reference to duck and geese, "at least we had to call them in...guess in TN/KY they are backwards". This statement suggests that you do not turkey hunt. Unless you are going to shoot them out of the window of your automoblie with a rifle, you will be calling them in.
The wild turkey is considered one of the most difficult wild birds to harvest. The turkey can see the least movement a hundred plus yards away. They also have excellent hearing. The successful hunter begins making his or her preperations many months before season comes in. Endless scouting and practicing calls are a necessity.
I have taken many birds since I began pursuing them. At no time did any of them call my cellphone and ask where they may surrender. I had to use my
turkey call(s)Considering your comments, as outlined above, I inferred you had not been turkey hunting. It was not my intention to suggest you are, were, or ever will be a city boy. Although lots of people in the city may hunt. I live in a rural area but often go to the city. I live less then twenty five miles of one of the counties that mark the western boundary of the elk restoration zone. I have never been elk hunting.
In summary, I don't think you are an experienced turkey hunter. One's residency does not indicate if they are a hunter, vegaterian, republican, baptist, etc.
I am sorry you were raped by someone on one of your turkey hunts. I suppose I wouldn't go back either.
All of this is to say, I'm going to level my monk.
