Think about it this way, Your performance is ofc based on how much knowledge you have, but you also have to feel rested and in good shape.
The best thing to do 1 day before a big test, is to just order a pizza & watch a movie, to be relaxed, Then you have to get a lot of sleep to be in good shape, also eat a big breakfast so that you'll have energy enough to focus / concentrate during the test.
So force your own body to sleep -- for it's own good ^^
