I am just mentally exhausted from a few issues at work.
I couldnt focus last night and didnt play very well actually. There is an art to healing. I wasnt doing a good job.

It has rained all week here so there wont be any mowing for a few days. I may hop on to check everyone out. I may very well take the night off and lounge around doing absolutely nothing.

I think there may be a Scrabble rematch at my house. I beat my wife 669 to 250 something last night. She seems to be a sore loser.

I am glad to hear that you know how to escape, we all need to do this once in a while, whether it is to escape from work, from real life issues, from JSP, whatever it is. Everybody needs time to compose their thoughts, or to become lost in a daze, whatever helps. Life is far too short to get stressed about trivial things.

how does welling work?

Take a white (non-magical) item, throw it in the well, then prepare for a FIGHT!

Tip: Do not try to well anything at or above your character's level, best bet is to do stuff 10-15 lvls lower than you. Also have some way of healing, whether it's a heal charm, fish, some comfreys (if fish or comfrey, put in the quick slots 1/2/3/4/5)

Couldnt have said it better. I will add that for me welling with a mele char I have a very good success rate from 30 - 50 due to my gear. At 30 I have decent armor and good sword, 35 i get 184 ee armor, 40 I get 153 ee chain mail and 45 I get good heal charm. I usualy do exactly what Jesse said and go 10 lvls below my lvl but I did do a few wells of lvl 25 items at lvl 32 and was successful every time. A heal charm is a must even if you can only heal yourself a few times. If you have fg buy comfreys but imo they are for the rich in fg. Fish are easy enough to catch and can be stacked (I didnt know about that for about 4 months) and put them where Jesse said.

Be prepared for a big fight as they are much harder than the arena and are more like the evil presences you find in cata. For high lvl items it is recommended that you use a casting mage wtih damn good heals at lvl 64. That way you can get side drops of lvl 55 items. I have heard of mele chars doing welling but my high end mq sword was shrined by some noob and my current sword just doesnt kill quick enough to do high lvl welling on a mele char. Just my 2 cents and i hope it helps.

Tonights plans are still up in the air and once I get stuff done I will post up what char I am going to play. Most likely gear up the mage for healing as I am lvl 25.

Right on Chip, and you are right, melee is not too difficult during the low/mid levels, but a twinked out mage casting at 64 with 125+ee on damage/heal charm and 35+ int on weapon/armor is the way to go, those are more towards the minimum side of things too now since they changed magic defense caster welling has become harder.
