You leave group and see if there is a high level group up... normally they are welling.
Also ask for their rules on welling... there are two:

1. Sides = FFA (Free For All) but, main drop is wellers... Note: normally the first item out of the well is the wellers.
2. Wellers Only = Pretty much only the weller gets ALL drops... if they do not want it, they normally say: "nn" = no need... then others can grab
