Little known Paparick truism:
Either we are alone in the universe, or we are not.
Both concepts are mind-boggling
We're not

Given the even distribution of matter in the universe, assuming there is no multiverse (there are at least 7 strong lines of reasoning to suggest there's a multiverse), the chances there is other life in the universe are mathematically greater than the chances that I am typing this sentence -- quite a strange "paradox"!

We're probably alone in the solar system, but a few candidate spots haven't been ruled out yet for bactieral life; moreover, some folks suspect that Venus may once have heralded life or even a civilization (I doubt the latter), but we'll never know. Greenhouse effect ftl. We're definitely not alone in the galaxy. As for our local group of galaxy, we're already looking at millions or billions of planets and moons with life -- nvm that our local group or cluster is like a grain of sand in an absolutely massive beach of other clusters like it.
What's mind-boggling is that humans have nearly dsetroyed the Earth
