Lol, got my first k tonight

Wow, well that sucked. My 71 barb just got gibbed It was a pretty long fight, I wasn't hitting him hard and he wasn't hitting me very hard, highest hit he had was ~300, but all of a sudden he hits me for 650+ twice in a row, and I get a popup on my screen from pokerstars, and couldn't click back to the browser fast enough to run away :| Bleh, that annoys me. I guess I shouldn't be playing poker while slashing, oh well :/

Edit: Oh, and see, I just checked out my character and I was still wearing regen gear. That's how much I was paying attention to slashing. At least I didn't have anything tremendously valuable.

So, I was thinking of a new type of snail race yesterday, and thought i'd bounce the idea off you guys to see what you think:

* it would be a multi-player race.
* it would need a set period of time, like 8 hrs, or 24 hrs
* contestants would need to form parties of five: one of each type of feeder class
* parties would then race to get to the highest lvl possible within time limit (highest lvl would be determind by taking the average of the five members in a party)
* all contestants would be required to only join parties with other members of thier team
* no single-player would be allowed (i'm not sure how to police this one)
* all items used have to be found (no market place).


prizes could be given to the top three teams
and by other criteria, such as most creative team name (ie Team Griffin's, members: Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, and Stewie)
prizes could come from entrance fees and donations

lmk what you guys think. i may pass this on to paparick or put it up as a poll in the main thread

Cool idea, but harder to organize than the grindnights, I think. What happens if a member doesnt show?

hmmmm...you may need a few alternates for each team.
some1 to make a char on the fly, before the start.
