trying me one out right now.. what lvl should i start using magic?.. im meleeing up to lvl 10 right now with it but idk if i should wait till 20 for magic like you would on a rogue caster

You can cast at lvl 0 ;]

Mage can start much earlier because of their starting int. You should be fine starting to cast at level 10.

I start at 5 myself, 1-5 is so easy solo I don't bother with mpk gear at level 0. @ level 5 I cast but still go hybrid if they have low health, no use wasting mana when one melee hit will finish them off.

i think its better to melee to 10-15. im no mage tho. and ofc insanebobb will say cast all the way, but look at his low level gear!

I don´t have great caster gear, and I have no mpk gear...
And I cast at every level....

What I would recommend for someone that is going to cast from level 0, is getting max mana.
And possibly some mpa.


Max mana does the job, though.
