So I'm done with Pokemon Firered and Leafgreen and collected all badges and all original 150 pokemon (minus mew which I'll get in Ranch sometime in the future). Moved on to Heartgold and Soulsilver and got all 16 badges there but still haven't collected all the 100 second generation Pokemon, probably got about half. But I was about to start up Emerald last night, figured I'd get going on that game and it will still have Gen 2 pokemon in it and I'll catch them as I go. Bought a Emerald copy off *** couple months back, never got around to playing though since I been busy. So I turned the DS on and upon loading the game it told me "the internal battery has run dry and though the game can still be played timed events will no longer occur."

Sigh.... Gamer problems.

Looks like I got to buy a new Emerald and go through the whole process of making sure I don't buy a counterfeit one. :(

Cool story?

Oh well, going to go work out now. GL GZ

Pokemon? Are we back in 5th grade? ;)

A better story would be: "Hey guys, guess what? I'm logging into LS to slash some more!"

I'm just messing with ya ofc! ;)
That sucks that the game you bought was a counterfeit version...so now you have to go out and buy another copy. Is there any return policies on from where you bought it from?...or it's just "sold as is" ?

Never too old to shun what you grew up enjoying. The game I bought wasn't counterfeit, the internal battery died. Emerald is pretty old now. I was just saying that believe it or not there are a lot of counterfiet Pokemon games sold on E*** and you got to be careful what you buy. My emerald was a legit version, just bad battery :( I probably can open it up and replace battery anyway. Just sharing a day in the life of course.

Jim this past weekend I went out and bought a 3dsxl and pokemon x, could not be happier, this generation is absolutely everything you would want in the games imo.

I know broski, I was really just messing with you and having some fun....so don't take it seriously, as a attack, etc. It was just pure jokes! :)

It's always fun playing games and such, that you grew up playing....for the nostalgia alone. I can remember buying an NES system a few years back, and played some old school games...it was really fun :)
....but now I don't know where the NES system has went, it must have gotten mixed up and "lost" with the several moves I have done within the last few years.

Hopefully you can fix/replace the battery issues, so you can enjoy the game in all of its glory!

edit:

And also realize that when I mentioned "playing LS"...that can be a laugh and joke all in itself too!
...I mean come on, it's LS! A simple and basic Flash game hehe :D

Good to hear. I'll be working my way up to X and Y. I actually have a 3DS XL. Once I'm done with Emerald, I'll be using that exclusively. (Since I'm going in order and Emerald aka third gen is still GBA so I am using a regular DS with a GBA slot).
