The padded robe that I found will help your Monk from level 1 to 15 while stating Vitality for hit points (key here is EE weapon and stat charm)
At level 15 you would have expended 4 ability points and most likely added a minimum of 24 stat points to vitality.
... Your Ability choice is up to you... now Doublestrike is great as long as there are 2 or more monsters spawned and 48% (3 pts) charge up which is great with one handed weapons @ 1 sec... not so great with two handed weapons like spear @ 1.8 sec ... so the decision is this... Double damage (base) using spear @ 1.8 sec vs Dagger @ 1 sec?

Conundrum: Dble Dmg at a slower rate while charging up the ability % rating?

Key factor that not many know about... NEVER use an ability less than 25% charge up (unless you are in a full group and only wanting to gain prof points). Basically under 25% charge up doesn't deal more damage vs a normal attack... even if it it Powerstrike or Retribution (think on this if you don't understand it)

This is also the same with salvation... if the % charge of salvation is under 25%.. you are better off just healing normally.

Good advice rex ty I'll think it all over. Won't be trying to mq for a bit on that old lady but sooner or later I'll get there unless I fall down too many trapdoors and then the kids will all be orphans at that point lol.

I can send you these charm and robes jesse to use for like the first 10 levels or so. should focus on stats on gear for kill speed. while you pump vit and a little int.
Dont need to worry about too much extra life when you one hit everything and fast. warm lights help too. Dont need heals if you level before heals are needed.
heals before lvl 15 are not needed at all if you go the dagger/ staff route with stat gear till lvl20-30 (depending on gear) and some max life on gear ( dont need too much) even when the heals start becoming needed around 15-20 a shrine or two a level will solve that issue allowing faster levels to get you to the mid levels where you will have enough vit and int to use heals.
double strike and salv are beauty for a monk.
monk is one of the best melee characters imo overall. Hella fun in a group with multi strike and cross strike.


im weird and i would use 2 hit back and double strike as i use fish and shrines mainly for heals on melee characters. but fish arent cheap and hard to get.
when i dont have fish id use salv and double strike though. or offcast lately lol. that takes high end caster gear tho to be worth it and shrines.

one key thing i will point out though.
I have never played ls on mobile so idk how easy it will be for you to heal etc. so idk if my advice will even help tbh.
I imagine the more that you have to swap back and forth between heals must make it harder.
Everyone plays dif and has dif gear and then adding mobile into the mix its really hard to say what to do exactly other than trial and error. hopefully not the bad kind of error.

Check out my Dex gear mule and just lmk if anything there will help you. all my dex gear mule stuff is not in use atm since i use swords or cast on ninja because my sword and caster gear is better while i try and find some sexy daggers.

Perception:

Level 1 to 15 while being a Monk.

#1 - One item with a minimum of +2xx Max life.
#2 - Enhanced Effect "Damage" item (be it Melee or Cast elemental)
#3 - Stat item that benefits either Melee or Cast.

Now you just need to set up the gear that compensates all of the above from level 1 to 15 and stat Vitality (since this is Hardcore)

Now... Level 15 to 25 or 35 can be SEMI (yup, semi) challenging with gear selection and stat placement, the principle here is what level 55?

How to get from either 15 or 25 or 35 to 55... gear choices but main conclusion is having the MQ items (lvl55 or less depending)

This also complies with abilities... and since I don't even bother with abilities until I am like level 55, I never actually think of them, or I just choose Salvation as the only ability to use.

Hey guys... not joking here... I actually don't rely that much on Abilities when solo'ing outside of Salvation or Retribution and only add them around level 45 +

I kinda got involved in a debate in two threads and lost my composure a little bit (okay... maybe a bit more than little... lol)

Personally can not prove a point without actually testing shit that I have tested like over 5 years ago before Events were removed and then being re-instated during my hiatus. This does not include the updates during that time.

Every update to the game has some changes that need re-evaluating because previous tests may have changed even though the basics seem to be the same on the surface. Basically not all of the changes have been posted with the Updated notes, classic example:

went to lvl 24 on my ninja without self healing with easy mode on.
gonna run salv and two hit back. working good so far. i love two hit back.
If only i had a dagger set for ninja it would be even easier.
