dont use ee robes until like lvl 20-30.
stats gear always before before 20. works way better.
I have a majority of a staff set that you can borrow but it has a lvl 35-55 gap. still it works.

Yeah, I think my spear set and a few adjustments to your robes would be more beneficial to climb and MQ... but, I need to sober up before posting more, also think you should go Melee/Heal type build ... 100 base Vitality and 30-50 Int and not worry about Dex until you meet the quota... BUT, & I say BUT... you need an Int padded MQ robe (personally EE + Int, but we don't have something like that).

Here is the thought process:

Melee from 1 to 40 not using Int gear, but, pump vitality to 100 and get Intelligence up, then use +Int robes, EE spear ... best EE heal charm on Main slot... Now... as for abilities... Doublestrike is great and all, but fucking sucks vs 1 mob (can NOT use this ability)... so to counter... Retribution... and for healing... Salvation: The trick is this, while taking damage and you healing yourself, you are charging up both Retribution & Salvation PER SECOND... so Mana pool is necessary hence 30-50 base int.

Anyway.. it comes to testing, if you trust me in above paragraphs... 2 Abilities (Retribution / Salvation), 100 base vitality and 30-50 int using Int padded robe... EE spear... and EE heal on main slot... your run will be safer.

Again... test it out... surely we will all aid you in this situation.

EDIT: oh... umm, so go Melee from 1-40 like what Trev stated using stat robes to like 25-35. my point was to use spears from 25 to 40 if not higher etc.

E: I may try that at some point rex once I have gear to stay alive lol. Gonna lvl up another mule to try and well with and leave them parked around 55 or so.

I am kinda annoyed when one person debates the Map level vs the Monster Cap level... I think I am getting off of the topic (I know I am) in the thread, but wasn't I clear about the Mlvl Cap and Drop Quality of the items they can drop even if Clvl is lower vs EP(s)?

Yup... hmm, may need to let this go a bit more, or maybe say that a level 25 map does NOT mean that a level 50 monster spawn can not spawn and the Drop Quality of the item can be higher than 50 when exploring the map @ say level 45+
