Why is it that you can never get the same answer about mf??
I am looking at a site that gives a ton of info about f and its says to use 350-400 mf for best chance to drop uniques....
but the chart they provide says at that amount uniques has the lowest % to drop
this is 400 mf
mf__ ______ magic__Rare__Set___unique
400% MF____400 ___300__287____236
and at 100 mf it is this
100% MF 100 100 100 100
so wouldn't it technically Be better to have 100 mf so you have = chance of dropping each?? instead of more chance of magicals.
or does it not work that way?
There is no magical number to get a precise answer.
For starters... 700mf will yeild alot more Rares than 400mf
Not just that, 700mf has a better chance to get unique items compared to 400mf
Each item has a roll to determine whether it is:
White
Blue
Yellow
Green
Gold
If the item is a ring, it will do a roll based on what it can be, and it will never be a white ring...

Note: it is personal preference to how much MF you will use.
Now... killspeed is best in full games, and 250-500mf is the range you should test.
Hammerdins can easily get 500mf and still have suitable killspeed.
