Id like to introduce my self, i play h/c ladder slasher by day and D II Baal runs by night. If you play D2 i can help you guys with anything you may need and im going to bring more people from d2 here hopefully. As for Ladder Slasher i try my best to not get killed at lvl 35 (ive done this oftten), but never worried about the MQ. now my goal is to mq to get more points for the guild. i could use pointers and so on if your willing to help. I have a Barb and A Fighter.

Safe approach to hc is also do 1 kill then regen to full life takes a bit but will keep you alive during lag spikes

honestly, I hated samurai (luckily I only had 2 attempts and 2 passes at samurai in my career), but I would play samurai just because I'm always excited about the idea of passing on to a new character, even if I don't exactly have the gear to play (remember, it's always possible to grind away in the newer versions of ls than it used to be)

Exactly the same
My point :

Having a rogue could :
Make me pass to samurai again ( then up both in the same time )
Having staffs.. then try rogue + monk if i pass monk later
Having some gear, because I can play arenas
