This is definatly gear your guild should be able to work off of, once he gets the 34 int weapon he will be able to get to the master quest. It might take a while but this is definatly a start for your guild.
For improvements, Lower level gear with high intelligence might be a good option because with 35+ int on a lower level weapon you can still use it until the master quest. same with the armor, although a higher int armor right now would would be a good idea. If possible i would suggest a level 45 charm with around the same enhanced effect if not higher.
this gear i suggested might not be possible right now but continue to try to get that gear. Your Guild leader stated you get 3k fg for passing the master quest at the moment, so get there and try it because if you pass you will then have more fg to attempt latter on.
