Good morning my brothers and sisters

Hope that everyone is doing well.

I need a moment to pretend to rant.
The last time I was discharged from the hospital I was told that a home health care nurse would be stopping by a couple times a week to check on me and see how things were going. No problem there. What I wasn't told was that I was going to get a visit from someone from OT ( Occupational Therapy) PT ( Physical Therapy) and a HCN ( Health Care Nurse) 2x a week. Each. That is 6 days a week. It's usually only about 1/2 hour each. Just long enough for them to make sure that I am still breathing and making sure I am not regressing ( getting worse instead of better). So....... 6 days a week I have people checking my vitals ( blood pressure, oxygen level, pulse etc...) they all have to know when my last bowel movement was. I like to say " It was yesterday, but I can go drop one for ya real quick if you like" (

) None of them have thought that was necessary so far

I get asked probably 1/2 dozen various other questions as well. Ot/Pt likes for me to do some various exercises while they are here just to make sure I can still do them.
Like I said "pretend to rant". It can be annoying to be asked 6 times a week when the last time was I took a big shit, but when you have been 1/2 way across the bridge of death twice in less than a year, you can pretty much learn to overlook the petty stuff like that. It's definitely better than when I was in the hospital and 6 people were asking me the same questions everyday. That did annoy the shit out of me and made me snap more than once. Anyhoo.....
Will be soloing for a while this am. Could very possibly be ready for a run later depending on how hard PT works me and how tired I am when we finish. Hope to be able to catch y'all in the battlefield
