right guys need some advice.

All i want to know is, if am gonna play this game from now but not much due to work, and only want to get like couple of levels aday soloing which would be best hardcore or softcore.
Am also happy to re-roll alot to keep selling stuff to go higher up the levels.

That's really up to you. If your connection is nice and you know how to avoid death, I would say try HC, just keep in mind there are fewer players to group AND to trade with on there. Softcore has far more players but the prices are also watered down.

You may want to look into hybrid type builds. I suggest talking to Rex (izParagonzi, PM him he won't mind) and either point him here or ask him some advice, he has been a solid sc player and has done hc as well, and knows how to build what you are looking for.

Hi ya...

I have done 3 Hardcore MQ attempts so far... basically a nub to Hardcore.

I will say that you are best with Melee/Healer if you are 99% solo'ing Hardcore.
I am using Guardian at the moment... reasons for this are simple:

1. Intelligence = 55 at the start... put 5 points into this
2. Strength = 30, so this is where you pump the rest of your points... NOT vita as you will rely on your healing to keep you alive
... Note: If you were to use a fighter and also go melee/hybrid... your stats would be less effective as you would put more points
... into Intelligence to get to a safe base of 60.
3. Clubs are pretty much cheaper than daggers, swords and even axes.
4. You can use some really cheap and effective heal charms by utilising Guard ability Salvation
5. You do not need to rely on "Enhanced Effect" plates, only Intelligence or Heal Mastery, and 25%+ HM or 25int is more than sufficient

Number crunching using Fighter hybrid Melee/Healer and sticking with 60 base intelligence as a pre requisite:

Fighter:
50 Str
40 Dex
10 Int
50 Vita

Now... if you put all starting points into Intelligence (20 base), you will need another 40 levels to get base 60 = Level 41

Guardian:
30 Str
10 Dex
55 Int
50 Vita

Now... if you put 5 into Int and 5 into Str when you start, you will have 50 Str in only 15 levels = Level 16
Also... @ level 55 by pumping every point into STR, you will reach the Ratio for Clubs 90/10... and then just go pure strength
With a guardian, you will deal more damage from level 16 and above and ALSO have good healing capabilities...

Items are simple...
Focus heals are your main requirements with at least 45% ee at level 35 +... you can even MQ with a level 35 focus with 60%+ ee
Armor = Heal Mastery or Intelligence with a minimum of 25
Club = Enhanced effect as best you can get for that level.

If you are not in a rush... it is simple to just get some junk weapons and concentrate on heals to keep you alive... also keep to black
if your gears are really bad

Tips with abilities...
From level 1 to level 25 you want to use EE weapons & Strength gear.
First 3 points into Salvation, then next 3 points into Retribution.

From level 25+ you want Int or HM armor and same Tier level weapons for your level and hopefully with some EE... even if it is only 20%
Salvation upped until you reach 66% in that ability
Retribution upped after Salvation has been reached
IMPORTANT NOTE: If your heals are really lacking in EE... then go for 72% Salvation first and rest retribution

I or Darren (Dyermaker from AB) may also be on when you are gaming, we can assist with things like welling / information etc.

there is several of us skillers in HC buying things.....theres alot of 40 to 70 ee items that are Cheap on the mp.

I'd do the fighter, save junk items for shrine.....I wouldnt really try to heal in there......alot of people run 1 guy to like lvl 10 and reroll sending shrines to their main so they Can go faster (if they dont find enough as they kill)

theres a guy soloing to mq in HC atm with a 34 ee lvl 55 sword and a plain 45 plate.....he hit one deCent drop and it was 5k fg.....well till he was an ass and now no one will buy it from him haha.

that dyermaker guy makes like 20 to 30 fg a day from me selling me mutes

if going hc then imo dont go hybrid or guard.

go PURE melee / tank and grab shrines.

I have done a couple climbs on hc.

solo'd 55-71 the one day with crap gear but its def doable.

@ Texandiablo

You are correct about there being cheap ee items on MP for HC... with only 8fg, he may not be able to get anything that will sustain him.
Even if he re-rolls, he may (optimum word) need to go higher levels so that he can FIND those 1fg items... hence level 25-30 to find level
15 items to trade up.

@ Tr3vor
 you bought Elias hardcore gear... when starting with NOTHING... no fg, no items, it is not that easy.

Mind you... 1.21 is so much easier than when I started HC in 1.15... but I will say that if you want to start with nothing, healing is a GOOD
way to go to increase your survival rate AND to get to higher levels to find those sellable items... yes... it is SLOW... but then there is a saying.
"Speed Kills"
"Good things come with time"

Anyway... you will find what works with trying it out yourself, I suggest trying Trevors and Texans suggestions first... get a feel for it... if at the
end that you find it a little bit annoying or you die... then try my suggestion... I want you to try theirs first.

I boguht 1 armor from him o_0

lol.

but yeah.
only you can grind like a boss rex :P imo melee would be easier.
you however are just a beast and can make do with whatever I will gie you that . but most people wont have the patience and perseverance like you do lol.
although i can tell by the amount of profs u are gaining you are killing slow ex. hitting each mob alot.
where as with melee you can kill alot faster.
in all honesty. who needs heals when soloing when there is a shrine availibe to use?
however its all preference.
