the item you throw in gets used by the monster. 

say you throw in a lvl 55 sword.  the monster is using that sword with its "welled" stats.  it may not necessarily be hitting you with it (could be using its charm) but whatever you toss in is equipped by the mob.

quality is low, but with some tweaking you can get it to look nice.  i just added a few, you can look what i did and go from there
