Here's the more likely scenario:

Animage: "Two shots of your finest whiskey, and a beer to chase."
Me: "One pint of Stoli please."
Barkeeper: "Total for the scotch + beer = $27.50. Total for the vodka = $15"
Animage (2 shots and a beer later): "Water please"
Me (1 pint of vodka later): "Another pint, please."

Some folks drink milk with their meals, real men prefer vodka.

How do you get worm wood (absinthe) in the US? Ive had some when I went to the czech republic, mexico and an buddy brought some back once but never knew it was readily sold in the united states.
